Puebla: a food supply center for the Barlovento Navy and the China Ship, 1640-1658

Abstract

The following work is an approach to the role of the Puebla region in its operation as a food supply center for the Barlovento Navy and the China Navy, as well as the social and political impact it had on the region. It is also a contribution to the economic history of the region as it is still a subject not properly studied that is on the mark within key years for Spanish politics.
